Hole In the Rock
Got back not long ago from a trip through Arizona and Utah. I’ll be posting shots from the trip here over the next couple of weeks.
This is Hole ‘n The Rock just outside of Moab in Utah. It was carved over the course of several decades by its owner Albert Christensen. He blasted holes in the face of the giant rock and slowly chiseled out a home inside. it is quite a large house, with a gift shop in the front. He was an amateur taxidermist and there are several examples of some of the worst taxidermy you will have ever seen as well as a carved memorial to Franklin Roosevelt. All in all a great diversion on the way in into moab.
