Paul Cloutier is a designer and entrepreneur living in the bay area. He is now a social media consultant helping companies empower their communities. He was a Co-Founder of 8020 Media, publishers of reader created magazines JPG and Everywhere. In 2007 he was named one of Folio Magazine’s 40 Most Influential People in Publishing.
Paul started out in photojournalism and quickly developed a great interest in design for the web. After spending years consulting as a designer he became the managing director of Deepend San Francisco, an award-winning web consultancy. He later founded Theorem, a design firm specializing in interactive product development and social software. He also worked as the lead designer and architect for Current TV, and brought Surface and Thrashermagazines online.
